Soul mates or karmic partners?

You may have many soul mates - and you won't marry all of them! A soul mate can also be a friend with whom you have a special connection.
 
Since love relationships are the most intimate, it is often in love that it becomes most obvious whether you are with a soul mate (or twin flame) or in a karmic relationship. But what exactly is the difference?

A relationship with a soul mate is not necessarily an easy relationship. Yet it will always be educative and deep. If you make it work (whether friendship or love), you will develop a relationship characterized by deep intimacy, mutual recognition and a love that promotes each other's growth.
 
Karmic relationships are similar to soul mates, yet quite different in nature. Perhaps you have been in a relationship where you and your partner felt like soul mates - because your souls had a deep, karmic bond. It can be difficult to tell the difference between karmic relationships and soulmates (or twin flames) - because the magnetic attraction is there, the recognition of the soul and the big feelings. The difference is what you have to learn from the relationship, and thus also whether you should stay in it.
 
You can learn something from all relationships! But sometimes the price is too high. Even though you feel connected, maybe your partner is actually undermining who you are?
 
Karmic relationships can certainly teach you something, but a karmic relationship can be unhealthy for you and tie you unnecessarily to a person, at the expense of your own self. Soul mates (including twin flames) are, in my opinion, people who support you in being yourself and bring out the best in you. Even if it means you first need to do your shadow work (work with yourself).
 
Love is complicated and astrology doesn't have all the answers. But there are some clear indicators in your birth chart that tell about your soul mates and what you should pay special attention to.
