Lecture about 2022. About the potential for spiritual awakening - and a little about the risk of oversleeping

Compared to 2020-21, the year 2022 may at first glance seem to want to go quietly. The last few years have featured several major astrological events. New cycles have begun and what once was is slowly disintegrating. At the start of the year, we are in many ways still in a state of chaos and disruption – a trend that we will see more of in 2022. But 2022 also has a lot to offer and looks set to be a significant year, both collectively and individually. There are global upheavals in the making and in 2022 structural changes will become more concrete and noticeable. On an individual level, it is also a year in which what has so far been an idea can now be realized on a practical level. Simplification, sustainability and community are some of the keywords.

On the one hand, 2022 offers increasing challenges in terms of e.g. economy, environment/climate, forms of governance and (im)balance between responsibility and freedom – but at the same time gives a hint of opportunities to create real changes. The division that we see today may on the one hand grow, but on the other hand 2022 brings a potential to see what connects us. The year brings a unique opportunity for spiritual awakening, where love and humanity can bring us closer together rather than creating greater division.
